Education and Public outreach
Guild members are currently available for limited in-person outreach and education. Beekeepers may also be available for virtual education sessions for schools. Click on the Speaker Request Form button below.
Guild members volunteer as educational speakers for schools, youth groups, service clubs, and organizations or corporations. Members also staff tables with demonstration hives, bee literature and honey sales at public informational events, exhibits and fairs. We will bring hive equipment, photos, honey samples and usually a portable, but contained, observation hive with live bees. A crowd pleaser! A primary purpose of the Guild is to increase public awareness and understanding of bees, and their importance as pollinators. We are happy to share with others our love of bees and our concern for bees' sustainability.© 2021 Santa Clara Valley Beekeepers Guild.
